Amanda Papay OTR/L CKTI has been practicing as an occupational therapist for over 20 years in a variety of settings, most recently at a community based PACE program for low income seniors. A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, her areas of specialty and practice include geriatrics, home and community health, LSVT-Big, and Kinesio® Taping. She began using the Kinesio® Taping Method in 2003. In 2007, Amanda completed testing to become a Certified Kinesio® Taping Practitioner and has used it as an adjunct modality in all her practice settings since that time. In 2024, Amanda became a Certified Kinesio® Taping Instructor with KTAI. She has presented the Kinesio Taping® Foundations course throughout Pennsylvania and lab assisted for several fellow instructors. In her spare time, Amanda enjoys fitness activities with the PGH Peakers, photography, traveling, and reading. Her dog, Piper, keeps her busy playing Frisbee and going for walks. Finding and trying new ice cream shops is always on her to-do list!
